how to make a picture your text

first off get the picture you want to do this with
i'll be using this lovely picture of reese witherspoon click here!
now before having the picture up make a new document
go to the text tool and type in whatever you want
its better to use a text thats thick because it shows the picture better
i'll be using the font times new roman
now after you're done paste the picture onto the document
on your layers pallet there should be this

now this part might be a little tricky
go to the layers pallet and right between the picture and the text hit "ALT" & click!
now on your layers pallet it should be this and you should be done!
